The rest.... But, if built, it looks like a Fokker D VII. And what looks like a Fokker, stands like a Fokker, is painted like a Fokker.... Copper State is a great help. There are lozenge decals ( some experts say they are 'running' wrong, but what looks like lozenge....), wooden prop and pe guns and other parts. If not, make a Jasta 18 version. I have seen it built, looks great. If you want to built a correct Fokker, take Battle Axe. Hardly anyone here at work, nothing to do, nobody to talk to or listen to. Got a very humorus Christmas card from a certain Austrailian about the two wise men and the Austrialian and his gift of a case of beer, must have been a gold label. Mr. Weier, in his card, expressed some of the same sentiments I have for this list and the friends I've made here, met and unmet. I only access the list at work and everyday I look forward to coming to work and catching up from the day before. I enjoy the humor, the new information, the helpfulness, even the occasional dust up is interesting. We've shared the sadness of the loss of loved ones this past year and the happiness of a marriage and new babies and now an engagement, the victories (brief intermission here, my son just called and my Christmas present to me just arrived from NKR, maybe I can leave early) and the defeats. The incredible silliness that Allan allows us to get away with always makes my day, cane toads and cheese whiz and the various forms of marmolite and finger choppers and people gluing things to their heads and other parts and Brent's new web cam that kind of shows things, but I still have no idea what I'm looking at and newsletters in different languages that I still like to look at. I love to hear about the different holiday traditions in different countries, especially those that eat about 15 different kinds of meats, or when people open presents and how much family is coming over and those crazy folks down under going to the beach on Christmas and BBQing all manner of things. I guess I just wanted to say thanks to everyone (hope that wasn't too maudlin)(see, those new word a day toilet paper rolls really do come in handy) and hope you have a Happy and properous New Year. So does lower wing. Fuselage needs reshaping in plan view (especially rear half) and reducing in depth. This then results in a change needed for the tailplane, struts, and cockpit. The rudder needs resizing and reshaping. The undercarriage wing is the wrong size. The prop is too big. And so on... I'm making the above changes at the moment and it's a lot of fun. Or, build it out of the box and have just as much fun. I warm up my motorcycle (the one with the loud pipes) around 8AM, with the exhaust facing towards the offender's house. I can't be busted by the cops, and it makes their post-party hangovers a living hell. To make this more OT, you might try to find an old Clerget or one of the many old BMW engines floating about, and re-furbish it, taking care to make sure that you point the noisy end at the offenders. Or hire someone who owns a replica Nie.17 to strafe them. Or, you can hook up a microphone to some speakers and sing - as Edmund Blackadder said - all those annoying WWI songs with the word 'Whoops' in the title. Then again, there's always phosgene and mustard gas. Very OT, but tends to run the user in contravention of the Geneva Convention (or was it the Hague? I always forget). Plus, you gotta get the wind direction just right. I favor the loud engine noise - there is nothing like a fraternity brat who reeks of vomit and is as pale as a green sheet weakly demanding that I shut off my bike. At least I think that he is weakly demanding it - I can't hear over the roar of the engine!! He may be singing a 'Whoops' song at me (after going 'Whoops' in the bushes...).
