A careful flow of liquid cement here or there to secure a seam (particularly ltd run kits) and then a little hit of CA to nail th'thing. Sounds primitive, but it *works* and does not hazard the gluey bluz. Putty comes out to finesse anyway and all usually ends well. This includes the severely stepped fuse joins some kits can be prone to. Good to know, given the many tape hazards. . . I distrust the stuff as capillary action usually runs to *it* rather than the desired seam. Experience is a good teacher.
