It's true, Ray...you didn't get my point :-) My point was that 1) Eduard claims that they lose money on every 1/72 scale model they produce and 2) they produce darn few. I do the math just like you do and can't for the life of me figure out why Eduard doesn't just raise their prices on the 1/72 scale kits. Tamiya is regularly getting $18-20 for good quality 1/72 scale in the face of lots of $4 alternatives. It works for them...it would work for Eduard. My second point, however, is that there is little point in debating this issue. They will do what they want to do which appears to be that they'd rather not produce them than to sell them for $18-20. -- Cheers --- Larry ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 13 Nov 2002 08:59:27 +0800 From: "< AutoWeb Solutions >" Subject: [ HK$ 28 ] = Email + Web Site + Registration + Technical Support + Message-ID: <200211130111.UAA37317@mustang.sr.unh.edu> Email - Promotion

Too obvious. They have discovered fabric samples packed away in an old chest belonging to Raoul Le Harve, the last surviving French mechanic. These samples were actually Silbergrau. The Germans analyzed a captured sample and the Pfalzwerke began producing and using it. Therefore all French Strutters were Silbergrau. Differences in tonal values between photos of French Strutters and photos of Pfalzen are now being attributed to differences between Allied and Central Powers photo emulsions, the German film being adversely affected by blockade induced shortages. Mister Kit is coming out with a French Silbergrau paint, though it will only be released in a shade adjusted for 1:48 scale effect as there is insufficient demand for a shade adjusted for 1:72.
