I do not recall a single person ever asking that of anyone! The same applies to re-subscribing!! Did you submit a request for the FAQ? I did the same day I subscribed. it tells a lot about what to expect and why... You have never been asked to re-subscribe and any interval is of your own choosing. Take our multiple pieces of advice...THERE IS NO FAULT WITH THE SOFTWARE. It is doing exactly what it was designed to do.. That is to protect the University Servers from being killed through overloads, by rejected messages being returned. Why do you have a problem with that??? It has been explained to you several times. We get this service free from the University. They are not, and can not, be expected to allow us to run rampant across their lines of communication at the whim and fancy of anyone getting freebies from them!!!! The computers are made to protect themselves whether you like itm or don't. the rest of us understand. Now it is your turn... Again there is no problem with their software. It is doing exactly what it was designed to do.. I have been on this for years, and, I have been bumped off perhaps three or four times at the most. Accept the facts of life. Your Hotmail is doing exactly what it is designed to do when it sends a message back to the University. The University program is doing exactly what it was designed to do when it cuts you off. You have been told what to try to eliminate your problem. Change your ISP. The University does not have a problem and they will not change just to suit you. I know I sound like an angry savage at times but I must say you are, at the very least, being overly stubborn about a situation that has been explained several times. Best of all I am not the least bit angry about anything. If you wish to participate with the things operating as they are designed to operate. Thats fine. If you disagree with the method then leave it and do your own thing as it suits you . But and it is a big BUT... Do not expect them to change to suit you. IT WON'T HAPPEN. The person that runs this is named Allan Wright. Ask him if you think I am telling you something that is wrong. Living by the rules as explained may be jumping thru hoops in your mind. Just remember this. All the other list receivers are living by those very rules you object to and most of us have done it for many years. They also have a 3 K rule. I may be breaking that with the size of this message, so I will also address this directly to you as well so it should arrive one way or the other... Relax and enjoy the hobby but leave the system in the same condition as you found it. Changes will be made but not by your complaining. Lee M. Like me, I'm sure many of you are on the lookout for one or two special, usually OOP, kits, so I appreciate the notices about kit sales, etc. But while I know what I want, I don't have any idea what anyone else might be looking for. As we go to hobby shops and shows, we see lots of kits and among them may well be what someone has been searching for. For example, I got a list of kits for sale this week from a guy I used to buy a lot of stuff from 10-12 years ago; I had renewed our acquaintance at the VA Beach Nats. Now, this fella has an email address, but no web site. On his list are most of the pre-WWI Lifelike and Pyro kits for $8-$10, the Renwal "Fabulous Flying Machines", many old Aurora and K&B OT kits, Meikraft, Tom's, Pegasus, Lindberg, Hawk, as well as vacuforms by Aeroclub, Cramer, Formaplane, Koster, and Lone Star (none of the vacs are over $14). And that's just the OT kits... Is there some way we could develop a 'want list' so that those who are so inclined could buy a kit that they know someone else is lusting for? And be comfortably certain that the 'someone else' would pay them back for it? Besides this sale list I got, I'm going to three shows in the next few weeks. If there's some way I could bring a little sunshine into someone's life by grabbing a kit they want, I'd be happy to do it. 'Course my life could use a little sunshine too... What are the pitfalls that I haven't seen in this idea?? And it's late, so I'm off to bed ;-) See ya tomorrow... Our only stipulation is that they leave the facities as they found them. And if they meet at times other than when the office is open, that someone be accountable and responsible for being sure that the building is secure before they leave after their meeting. It is obvious the ones you like are not given free space by the University of New Hampshire. They are hooked up by other means and that allows them to operate by other rules. When you get the other lists it should be obvious that you must do it according to "Their Rules" and not your own wishes, desires, or hopes. Any other list can do what ever they wish but here you do it according to the rules of U.N.H. I am sorry you are not very competent in understanding the reasons things are as they are. Since you do not comprehend any of this, I now feel I am wasting my time talking to you. Your reasoning is as they say "Non compos mentis". You make no sense whatever. Your reasoning is as they say "Non compos mentis". You make no sense whatever. As you drive down the highways of our great Nation I hope you observe the driving rules of the States as they have been established. It would be nice if you did.
