Also, it is my impression that they "corrected" our chips at least in an indirect way, by accepting from the paint manufacturer shades which are far from those we supplied. Although Mr. Anderwill and I are not involved in the MK enterprise by ANY means, it is quite sad to see that ***some*** of the colours we have worked on are not supplied to the modelling community as we intended them to be. Infact, our main aim in collaborating with MK was to get, at last, a reliable WW1 aircraft colour range. Business has its rules, I suppose.... I have very limited modelling quality time, and usually get back home at night when my eyes are just two marbles stuck into my face. However, slowly, at snail's pace, I complete a little detail, or dab a coat of paint, or glue two pieces. The reward is always greater than the small task done, but I can call it a day when at least I have the chance of fondling the small plastic pieces or take a few books off the shelves of my library. Eventually the models get finished almost by accident, but hey I don't worry, I have more kits than can be built in two lifetimes! It's around 20 US $. I would recommend it only for the real sick persons under us. The kit itself is unchanged, you have to scribe away the very last 'detail' inside to fix the magneto. Easy to fix it also in any other Triplane kit or even in a RE8. Biggest problem: The magneto in the base is a strong one. I planned to place the Hovering Red Baron on my work desk. Until I discovered the keyboard, the loud speakers and the screen and the scanner and.... It scales a bit heavy in 1/72 (9mm or .36") but then so do the alternatives in 1/72. The LWF pictures will be most useful later, but my favourite is the Kaspar Bleriot. Several years ago I bought a book Cesta Do Oblakov, which I have never been able to read, but which has some superb plans and drawings of early aircraft including this one. It appears to me that the book says 'Kasparovo lietadlo typ JK (syst閙 Bl閞iot)' that Kaspar was the designer based on Bl閞iot's ideas. Perhaps one of our Eastern European members could confirm my thoughts.
