Sanjeev's FE is a work of art, and Michael's Mosca MB bis is just as stunning (even with the wings ;-)). As to the above comments, I was able to make it to NASM, but unfortunately only for a half-hour due to other things going on. Definitely walked through the WW1 section, and it's sad to see all these great machines above your head, out of the way so you can't really see them perfectly. I do wish someone would at least get up to the Voisin and take pictures of it (Brian?). Oh well, at least they're being preserved. And of course someone just had to do it. For what it's worth, Michael, I saw this message quite a while ago. Keeping this OT, I was reading your review of the Toko Snipe last night and discovered something. While we talked about the Russian decal set a while back and how it's changed from the Toko to EE versions, I hadn't realized that the British set has improved as well. After reading your criticism of the Toko Brit roundels, I pulled my Toko kit (I've started the EE one) and sure enough, they exhibit all the problems you mention. The EE roundels, however, are much nicer and while I haven't actually measured the blue and red portions, they seem much better proportioned. The blue has been lightened a bit as well. They probably read your review :-) Cheers --- Larry ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 19 Jul 2002 12:00:02 -0000 From: "Bittner, Matthew E. I've seen it referred to several places as the 'first' RAF fighter as delivery started shortly after RAF formation in 1918. > I have the old ones somewhere and not only is the blue > a bit dark but the centre red disks are fairly miniscule.
