More yet, he states that "Construction from start to finish took three days.". I can't even imagine this. He must look like a blur while building. How does he to make paint dry on this little time? Sure he has some device to freeze or slow the time or such. Most awesome. Check the picture with the turtledeck detail. It clearly shows the neatness of the construction, not a trace of filler nor marks on the seam and still the stringer detail is there. The paint job is pristine as well, as usual, with a restrained weathering effect. I wish I can do such good work, so fast! Joan was involved with it but IIRC he has no drawings (yet) at his immediate disposition, but they sure do. Joan also told me -just a while ago- that the FPAC is making an updated website, so I once again reminded him to put all the data about this and other projects for pondering by the wild bunch of cybermodelers we are. A couple of clarifications: C&C 17/4/374 does have a picture of Andras Kulczar's Aviatik/Berg 138.27; this plane is the focus of the Flight article, and the version in CC(I)ontains additional photos. Alois' last name was "Rudlauer", not "Rodlauer". The only other reference to markings in all those articles in the brief description of a 45 Squadron RAF combat with an Austro-Hungarian plane on July 31, 1918; the latter is described as marked with a pair of long stripes, one red and one green, "down the fuselage", and marked with an "octagonal C". Since it is now widely accepted that the Italians shot down Linke-Crawford, this information would appear to be irrelevant. It would seem to me that whole theory of a "C" on the starboard side of Linke-Crawford's planes stems from a single picture of him standing at some distance in front of Fritz Jansky's Phonix D.I, as shown in C&C 15/3. The stylized "J" *could* be interpreted, I guess, for a backward "C".
