I wouldn't say it's the most rare kit but it doesn't seem to appear as regularly as some other old out-of-production Revell kits like the SE5a, Fokker E.IV and Sopwith Triplane - not that these are really plentiful either. Barry does have 1/72nd scale resin after market Nieuport 17 parts for the undercarriage, wheels, interplane "V" struts and a spinner (cone de penetration?). Same goes here... not to be surprised as the war have left a great surplus of perfectly good airplanes and tanks and ships and submarines and cannons and tin hats and.... etc etc etc that were readily available for every country who wasn't tired of war in 1919. French, italians and british missions toured all the countries in South America selling these remnants and in many cases almost giving them all for free (or paying for all the goods that were sent 'over there' during the war). Besides, south american armies were eager to get their little dirty paws over those magnificent weapons that were forbidden for them for 5 long years of fighting in Europe.
