In this case, from what is in the quoted part of the message, the 'htm' part of the address was wrapped. The lazy-person's way of fixing this is to hit the address, and when the 'URL not found' message comes up, edit the address in the location window to add what wrapped. Other ways are to copy the url to your browser destination line and edit it there. The address is correct in the e-mail, it just wrapped when it was posted with a 72 character line or whatever. .Mark. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 13 Jul 2001 20:20:43 +0200 From: "Hans Trauner" To: Subject: Re: Czech Master and Lueddeman Resins Message-ID: <000901c10bc8$87407e00$35aa72d4@FRITZweb> John, Volker has bought a couple of Luddeman's and showed it to me on his visit in Germany. It depends on the "damage" the previous modeller would have done to the kit parts, but in all I must say that it looks quite well OOB. The ugliest part is the cowl, but even that is an easy fix. I didn't win anything, and as much as I hate to admit it, Matt's tank did look better than both of mine ;), but what really made my day was finding the little slip underneath my Mark IV female from Fine Scale saying they wanted to photograph my model. I also found one under my waaaaaaaaay ot flying wing from Roll Models, but it was under the entry sheet and I didn't see it till late Saturday night when I was packing up (Sorry Brent). It was a blast seeing some of you for the first time, Dame Karen, it was definately a pleasure and I regret missing the Limo but duty called, I also enjoyed seing many of you again. I finally got to met Eli Geher, a gentleman and a scholar. Greg's seminar was great, he even got extra points for taking a few shots at Matt during the presentation. Greg's seminar was standing room only, or to be more accurate, they were sitting in the aisles. I picked up some nice O! T armor and aircraft and I may e ven have some time now to actually build some of them. To all of you that came, thanks for coming, and to all of you that made comments about the Nats, everything you have said will be provided to the next batch of guys who do this so it's even better in the future. If any of you have some comments and things you would like to see improved (we don't need any more input on the awards ceremony, I think we have that pretty much covered ;) ), please let me know offline. The 1/72nd biplane category was split two ways - German and "all other". Steve Hustad took second in German, I took First in "all other". So, I never had a chance to beat out Herr Hustad.
