Too thick, heavy, and clumsy. This kit is a vast improvement in this area as you point out. The wrinkles in the fabric is very well represented. I saw an article in FSM a couple of years ago on a 1:32 scratchbuilt DH1a. The builder used tissue soaked in white glue to represent the wrinkled fabric. Very, very effective. BTW, the new a/g decal sheets have some excellent alternative markings for BE's and RE,s if the ones in the kit aren't to your liking. I was thinking the Tom's Brit. interior p.e. sets would be useful also. Now if Aeroclub would only do a 1:48 Vickers Gunbus! I'm really looking forward to their DH9a and FE8. Message-ID: <3A6916F5.720178D2@airmail.net> Hi Gang! Here is our final tally: 20 models for $535 + postage $35 = total cost $570. Quite a sum of money eh? I figure you all know what you ordered. So I'm not going to send each of you an itemized bill. Add $1.75 per kit for shipping to the USA. How about $5 for shipping to your house from my house? If it's less I'll send you the change. If it's more it'd be nice if you mail me the difference. I haven't checked the price of shipping, but I figure that's close. Here is my mailing address: Brent Theobald 1738 Glencairn Lane Lewisville TX 75067 I'd like to encourage everyone to mail those checks out soon so we can start the ball rolling. Thank you for participating!
