It looks like everything is fine. Also, I know this may be just a little ot since it doesn't have much to do with modeling but I received a copy of Blue Max miniature rules in the post yesterday and I wondered if anyone on the list plays, where they live (I live in Georgia), and how do you play by e-mail. The Blue Max site has a play by e-mail link but it is irretrievable, or at least I can't get it. I don't want to disrupt the list to much with this so an off-list reply would be appreciated. They have Liquitex and I feel the same way about it. I can mix any shade of color I need and since the paint is very thick, by the time it is thinned down, it's half the price of hobby store paints. Easier cleanup and less toxic fumes. Other than a few specilized colors I use it almost exclusively. Highly recommended. sp ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 27 Nov 2000 08:06:45 -0600 From: "Matt Bittner" To: "wwi@pease1.sr.unh.edu" Subject: ModelKrak armored cars Message-ID: <200011271406.GAA11076@avocet.prod.itd.earthlink.net> Just want to put in a plug for the ModelKrak all-resin WW1 Russian armored cars. These are things of beauty and an easy enough build. I'm working on the Austin "Series I" now, and have it just about ready for painting. CBR is finishing up the Garford-Putilov and while it has more parts than the rest, still an easy enough build. The key to finishing these kits, though, is in the painting. CBR's should appear "soon" on IM, with mine following a month later. There are four cars so far in the series: the Garford-Putilov; Austin "Series I"; Austin "R"; and some sort of "Fiat" (I haven't seen this "Fiat" yet). Very nice models. If you're into proper scale armor, definitely worth tracking down. You can get them from Roll Models, Mighty Military Miniatures (those two highly recommended) or KitLink.com.
