I was in Virginia last weekend where the adds aired about guns in South Australia. Apparently they are only aired in Washington DC and Texas which explains why I hadnt seen them before. After seeing the add, I wasnt too impressed. I wouldnt worry about them too much, they arent aimed at the American people, I think they are aimed at Gore(DC) and Bush(TX) with the hope of making it a political issue in the upcoming election. The gun debate has been around for a while in the US and most people have a pretty sophisticated opinion on it. You cant count those undecided on the issue on one hand. I would also be having a word to Steve Irwin along with Charlton Heston.
