Hmm. He might very well have not reached the 91st by this time or might have been in the hospital following one of his Snoopy episodes (being shot down). Well, I guess the Pegasus Salmson will be built as a 91st 'plane (if I ever get around to it). Thanks for the info. My name is Bob Repich. (I have both arms and legs, so don't worry too much about swimming pools :^) I'd like to thank David Zulis and Diego for the kind words. I do not plan to use this as a soapbox to sell my books. I signed on for the exchange of info. From what I have heard there is a lot of excellent info to be learned from you all. I'd also like to add a little info that I have on Cottrel. I did not see the beginning of this thread, so please forgive if this has already been mentioned. I looked up Mr. Cottrel in Wings Of Honor and he is listed with the 24th Ob Squadron. They have him joining on Sept. 8th, 1918 through the Armistice. No record of where he was assigned before that date. The 24th became operational on the 12 of Sept. It was part of the First Army Observation Group of which the 91st was also included. There are 2 photos of Cottrel in C&C Volume 5, #1. Both apparently taken on November 12, 1918. Once again, my apologies if this is a re-hash of material that has already been gone over. Americans were also mixed up in this, and I believe a Blue Rider sheet as well as one of HitKit's Albatrosen features markings of the valiant Kosciuszko (7th Sq.) boys. For more details, Karolevitz & Fenn's Flight of Eagles is highly recommended.
