Message-ID: <388FDD27.29BAEC4C@airmail.net> Howdy gang! I am back from the arctic wasteland of Minnesota. Just in time for an ice storm here in Dallas. I can't catch a break! I wanted to drop a quick line to let ya'll know that I have been very busy. I completed both Snipes and put finishing touches on the Albatros D.Va. The Caudron G.III came out of the jig last night. It's all crooked and I am not sure how to proceed (hammer or lighter fluid? Hmmm...). Apparently I built some stress into the booms while in the jig. I did not get my Aeroclub Re-8 done. AMS struck. I have been scratching ammo trays to go behind the gunner. It'll get there, eventually. The OT project I completed is that goofy Koolhoven FK-52. At least it's a biplane! I have also started the Sikorsky S-16. I gotta park something next to the Ilya! Been busy buying too. I picked up a Eastern Express Morane Saulnier and a Pup to go with the red, white and blue diamond decal sheet from Blue Rider. I called Eric over at Copper State and picked up a Halberstadt Cl.IV (I talked his ear off too). I also found a Tom's Modelworks Fokker VI for cheap. I kinda like the mauve/green paint job on the cover of the box. Can anyone tell me if that paint scheme is correct for any of the decals supplied in the box? (I haven't had a chance to research it yet myself). I'm glad to be back! I just wish it was warmer here.
