425/17 ?

Red. AFAIK the rudder is white, the crosses are black and white but
everything else is red. At least at the time he died. Earlier machines, and
presumably 425/17 at some point were only part painted to one degree or
other. Ed Ferko's  MvR book has profiles which are convincingly argued IMHO

A newish aftermarket company. Cyg. of this list. Makes a beautiful Albatros
D.II conversion intended for the old Glencoe D.III but perfectly useable on
the new Eduard.

Still around. Still getting my business. Looks like they'll be around
for a long time to come. They've outlasted every other hobby shop in
town. And they've never discounted anything. Must be the central
location. So how did you manage to stay in Taxes so long. I tried to
re-locate to Dallas once, but I couln't find anything good to eat.  :)

    Hmmm.....without counting I'd say 10-1 in favor of WWI. I only did a rare
non-WWI aircraft(the Hurricane for the Maxwell combo) except for the revered
Wildcat. I am thinking of making a whole slew of them in all the various
markings and camo schemes. No interest in other WWII airplanes...only a

Sorry to hear about your hard drive crash!.

Please put me back on your profile update list. I really appreciate seeing
all your splendid profiles on the web (especially the Jastas).

Speaking of which. . . I have been assembling images (mostly xeroxes, some
print-outs) of a/c in each Jasta that I can find. I have about 5 notebooks
so far, with most of the Jastas represented. I notice that you list
profiles for some of the more obscure Jastas -- which I'd love to see added
to your site. These are: Jasta 1, 36, 45, 49, 65, 75, 80; please post them,
when you get the chance. Thanks very much!!

BTW, I'm sending you a gift -- a book that I hope you can use. It is "Air
Enthusiast vol. 1", which has the first 7 issues of this pub (June to Dec.
1971) bound together. Nice stuff, but mostly far-off topic for me. If you
don't have it, I think you'll like it; if you do have it, please use this
copy as a gift/ trade material for someone else. It is meant as a token of
appreciation -- for all the nice things you do for us WW1 freaks.
