BE2x or RE8 from Aeroclub - Fokker food SE5a from Blue Max - inline powered fighter kit will be released before you finish the rest... Sopwith Baby from Eduard - early seaplane fighter from the RNAS Nieuport 17 from Eduard - one of the first with synchronized guns to show that imported aircraft in RFC use. Avro 504K from Smer - a trainer to produce all the pilots Sopwith Dolphin / Snipe from Blue Max, the apex of Sopwith fighters Sopwith Triplane (Eduard) - RNAS on land, not only the Red Baron flew a triplane Morane Saulnier monoplane - contrast to triplane We lack a twin engined aircraft, either the flying boat by Aeroclub or one of the "Bloody paralysers, complex and expensive FWIW Eders Knut Erik _ _ { | {{{ | ||O| |||+| {|\ || | {|\ ||| | ---====(o)|O\.........................---====(o)|O/ {|/ || | {|/ ||| | ||O| |||+| {_| {{{_| ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 26 Jan 1999 17:18:18 -0800 From: "Sandy Adam" To: Subject: Re: SPIN Ansaldo Message-ID: <199901261717.RAA08051@beryl.sol.co.uk> > Yesterday I received the Ansaldo SVA5 (1/48 by Spin) that I had ordered > from Hannants. With no BE2 kit out there( injected), I would start with a DH-2,(Blue Max or SMER kits), AVRO 504 (SMER), PUP (Eduard), TRIPLANE (Eduard), CAMEL (Blue Max), DH-4 (Aurora or K&B aren't too hard to find) SE5a (Lindberg) and finally BRISFIT (Blue Max). I limited my answer also to British designs by leaving out Nieuports & SPADs. I also left out the Bristol monoplane due to no injected kit out there in 1/48. Sounds like a neat project. Good luck. Just soak the enamel painted styrene parts for a few minutes and then brush off the paint with a medium brush. Cleans up ready to repaint with soap & water.
