I had to do it too. The way to do it is to run the computer's set up program (the one that is accessible for a short while when you turn the darn thing on) and then go to the paralell port set-up options and do the change. Easy to do. Still I'm speaking only from my limited experience and as I said I don't know much about this things. Maybe someone on the list may give better help, I sem to remember there are some guys on board the list to whom this kind of stuff has no secrets. While I confess that we do not have the cultural, historical and general panache of Dallas or Pensacola, our climate is certainly no worse than the latter in terms of Summer humidity. As for the political cesspool to which you refer; most of the excreta emmanates from so-called out-of-towners and the people they drag in with them. Fortunately, most of them go back to their homes after 4 or sometimes 8 years. A few have made it their lifetime home-from-home. I wouldn't bother coming here, Shane/Mick, there's nothing to do or see really; just a few thousand exhibits and historical documents, the Naval Academy (40 minutes from my house), Fort Meade museum (45 minutes), NASA headquarters, the oldest continually in use airport in the U.S. at College Park, MD. Of course, it's crowded with tourist much of the time - you wouldn't have to worry about that too much in Dallas. Michael mkendix@worthen.ihcrp.georgetown.edu On Fri, 1 Jan 1999, Gerald P. It was originally produced by Inpact/Lifelike in the 1960s, then Pyro, and finally its current incarnation by Lindberg. It suffers from a few inaccuracies, most notably, as I discovered today after spending 15+ hours detailing the damn thing, a rendition of the Bristol Jupiter motor which is one and one-half scale feet too big in diameter. But as Dave Fletcher pointed out, "Funny, it looks right on the model". But that painful observation aside, it's well worth your nine bucks IMHO. Nice moldings in silver plus stainless wire for rigging; my decals were slightly off-register but you could probably use 'em if you're not too picky. Detail is basic, but easier to modify thereby. If I sound like I know whereof I speak, I can cheerfully admit that I learned it all right here on the list. Contact me if you decide to build it and need any references... I've got enough to build a real one, also thanks to these fine ladies & gentlemen. The green/white one in Canadian markings was restored by Stan Segalla, who lived ten miles away in Canaan, CT until he retired to Florida. He did the "Flying Farmer" routine at the Aerodrome in his Cub for years. Simply unbelievable the things that man can do with an airplane... I've never seen the like of it. His son Billy is one of a two man precision aerobatic team flying Christiansen Eagles, and I frequently see them passing over in the pattern for the local airport... inverted. Gotta love it.
