(so's my fist, when it comes down to it, but > since I've pinched enough pennies lately to get tired of the sound of their > screaming, I think I can break down on this.) We now have 41 members wanting to contribute (43 if Franco and Ivan join). The plan was I would buy the complete set of Aerodrome Modeler (4 years) for the list library, and anyone who wanted to contribute to the cost could do so. In return for the $15 contribution, Bill would make a copy for that person (with each person still responsible for their return postage). However with the number of members joining I am sure we have enough to pay for the postage to each contributor. Our problem now is how to copy 41 sets of up to 800 pages 41x800=32,800. A few pages more than Bill may have planned on when he offered originally. Even if Bill and Rick were to split this between them, that is still 16,000 each. Does anyone else have access to a free copier? The fund would pay for paper costs (I have no idea about toner, but I suppose that would have to be figured in as well). I shall send my letter today offering $125, and would ask all of you to hold off on sending any money until we know if I am successful or not. As this is being conducted by snail mail, it could be up to three weeks before we know. As a sample of what they contain here is the contents from the 5+ issues I have.
