Subject: Avro 504N Message-ID: <002101be2129$1310dac0$23d690d0@Pvosburg> While we're on the subject of Charlie's 504A/B, has anyone gone the opposite route and attempted the conversion of the SMER kit to the (off topic) inter-war 504N with the AS Lynx engine? Aside from the fixed engine I know that the undercarriage was redesigned, but am unsure what other changes were incorporated. I'd be interested in hearing off-list if anyone has info/experience on this type. They are Italian, however, one set of the cockades has a red middle and green outer ring, and the other set has a red outer ring and a green middle. Is there an explanation for this? Yes, the Italians took a while to standardise on one particular style. Not uncommon across all participants as it happens Shane ------------------------------ End of WWI Digest 1326 **********************
