There is one exception where there is interposed between the rogue and another in the chain of possession an honest ( bona fide ) purchaser who pays ( gives value ) for the subject goods and does so without notice of the rights of the true owner Now for the fun bit - If a Notice were to be posted to e-bay warning interested parties that this item was in fact removed from AWM and not returned despite demand ( assuming such demand has issued ) , then any honest party interested in the goods won't touch them. The vendor will then be faced with a rather depressed market nes pas and the item might therefore be recovered at a sensible price and returned to where it belongs - The party who ought place any the Notice of the kind suggested is AWM itself !!!! When ordering, please specify: the area (Somme, Flanders, etc.) the year (1916, '17, etc.) and season (summer, winter, etc.) of the dry transfer you need. The wings will be principialy fibreglass shells with some form of = integrated spars. They hope to cope with all problems caused by big = wingspan. I think they have good background to hope so. They produce fibreglass and carbon fibre parts for aviation industry as = well as purpose built models of gliders in big scales. They expects metal struts and resin and photoetched details. The = production run will be limited to 200. Expected price ~2.000 Kc equals = ~60$ in today rates. They have made appeal on me if I could ask wwi list members for some = help. They look for some photos/drawings of inner fuselage details, = fuselage underside and engine compartments. If someone of list members = could and wish to help with this mamoth project, contact me please off = line. TIA on behalf of the GAVIA boys happy modelling regards Michal ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 04 Sep 1998 08:03:38 -0400 From: "Steven M. It was bought in 1963 and as I was looking at it through the bag the other day, the decals (Luke's machine) had deteriorated in spite of being in the bag only 35 yrs :) Be happy to trade you something for the Guynemer's Spad markings. Let me know if you are interested and we can dicker. sp ------------------------------ End of WWI Digest 1194 **********************
