The reason is me and a few others have been trying to paint the historically accurate schemes for Red Baron 2 and correct it so it is historically accurate as possible. So far we have an Unofficial patch that is up to 3.0 and will have a few add-ons to it ( RB2 is limited in its number of aces squadrons etc and gives undue attention to certain squadrons and aces etc for commercial reasons ) anyway upshot of it is we are enthusiests of the game , history, aircraft and are trying to make the game as historically accurate as possible , all of us have already bugged bob pearson to distraction :) . Here are some sites that have the historical schemes on them , if u guys want to browse them or pick them to pieces please do so , as i said we are trying to get it as accurate as possible. the sites : ( Australian Flying Corp ) http://www.geocities.com/Paris/Cafe/9250/afc.htm ( Aces page concentrates on german schemes predominantly ) http://erau.db.erau.edu/~belanges/ ( Scotts page BvB ) http://home.earthlink.net/~scottbeth/Redbaron/redbaron.htm ( Von Heltons Castle : predominantly german and turkish ) http://members.xoom.com/jvonhelton/index.htm ( CAG site , invisible site where we post our templates and schemes so we dont double up ) http://members.xoom.com/Flybert/ We have also got into the terrain files so can make terrain for new theatres such as Italian Front , Eastern Front , Palestine / Mesopotamian Front. Info on these theatres is hard to come by so if anyone wants to volunteer info we would be very appreciative :) I enjoy this list , thanx for all the interesting info u guys have been posting while i have been lurking and watching :) cam Visit my homepage at http://www.prontomail.com/Prontomail/users/cameron ______________________________________________________________ Get Your Free E-mail and Homepage at http://www.prontomail.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Jun 1998 23:12:21 EDT From: KarrArt@aol.com To: wwi Subject: scale wasRe: Marcos' Miniatures; Anyone tried them?
