The pound has been fairly high for the last year or so (thankfully - it was rock bottom for long enough before that! When I first went to the States in 1978 I was getting $2.35 to the pound!!!) so I make no apologies for feeling good that we're back over 1.60 just now. Having just sold off a whole library of books, I re-investing the proceeds in kits and making hay while the rates last. (no doubt this time next year, you lot will be crowing about how good dollar prices are again - while I'll be gazing enviously at all the new super goodies I can't afford! Consists of 2 IPMS members from Leicester who did the Dolphin, a Brisfit,a Nie 23 conversion and a W,.29 - but I don't think the Flashback W29 has anything to do with Waldo (I hope not as Waldo quality is very basic) Having said that Waldo were (are?) the only game in town for a 1/48 Dolphin - and after mega-work, I'm very pleased with the result. (I must get some pictures taken and scanned to let you guys see I actually do make kits and not just talk about it!) Hannants had Waldo for a short while but I haven't checked recently. having said that the Dolphin cost 31.95GBP which was way over for the quality of what you got. Paul, please check in at www.ipmsusa.org you will find a heading National and International links. In that location you will find links to Queensland and Sidney where I am sure someone can put you in touch with the "home" IPMS group for Australia. www.powerup.com/ipmsqld just might get you what you want.
