Message-ID: <3584ACC0.5582@bellsouth.net> Hey Guys, So I've finally got some momentum going on the SVA, and I've got some nice looking sub-assemblies just about ready for paint and installation in the cockpit. But not having a whole bunch of reference material, it's been very slow going with alot of hit & miss, build it over, file it down, shim it up, start all over again... The problem is that I don't have any references that say,"cut (X) this long from size (Y) strip", or "assemble in this order..." How do others deal with this to make things easier? Are there some engineering rules, or tricks that would help? Do I just need to start getting a greater variety of precision measuring tools? HELP!!! E. I could not be more pleased! Beautiful work and a great value and promptly delivered. The castings are first rate. The trailing edges are nice and thin. The roots of the lower wings even have dimples to mark where to drill for mointing pins. The instructions are clear as are the diagrams and the decals look good. The color marking guide by Dan-San Abbott is worth a frame. John, you and your partner have made a great first offering. Releases of future projects will be events to be looked foreward to. Wishing you a long and productive venture, sp ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 15 Jun 1998 12:37:22 EDT From: KarrArt@aol.com To: wwi Subject: Re: FLASH! BULLETIN! BOY IN P-51!
