Above the Trenches lists a number of naval 8 pilots and then identifies their Pups by serial. By cross referring this with the Air-Britain RN book you get a pretty detailed history of all the Pups. Eg Bob Little (Highest scoring Aussie Ace) flew N5182, "Lady Maud" in 1916 when he downed his first 4 huns. Sorry if you have this already - on the other hand if this is of any use I can go through the rest of them and give serials etc Also some of C&C vols 15 & 16 detailed RNAS aircraft - I haven't got the particular issues in question but soembody else may be able to look them up. 15/4, 16/2 & 16/4. E-mail to Amazon and receive apologetic reply with promise of free replacement shipment. 11-20, still no books, so I dash off another e-mail to Amazon. Reply comes back that they are waiting to receive the Tips & Techniques book from the publisher and will ship to me UPS 2nd day when it's in. 11-25, Note from Amazon that Knights has been shipped followed on 11-28 with note announcing shipment of Tips & Techniques. Today 12-1, two packages arrive. #1 contains Knights of the Air but #2 has "Map Guide to the U.S. Federal Censuses 1720 - 1920!" At least I got 50% of great reading ahead. Sent another note to Amazon tonight. Charge has been on the account for a month with no books. Buyer Beware! Next time I'll drive to Barnes & Noble. Anyone else with the same experience.
