I walked to the archives but had a ride to the museum - I liked how they let us go wherever we wanted and asked our opinion on what they had (unlike another recent seminar tour). I am currently trying to figure out the differences between the original German version and the Finish and Norwegian copies. It will probably be based on the Finish version with spare cowlings for German and Norwegian versions. Broplans latest release was the Norwegian MF 11 floatplane, one of the finest vacuforms I have ever seen, especially the subdued representation of the ribs. Now that's a real toughy. There are way too many great schemes out there to just limit myself to one. All of Jacobs' mounts are fascinating, especially the Albatros D.II and Fokker D.VII. I truly like all of the Layfette schemes, as well as most of the Breguet bomber schemes. While Navritil is a favorite A/H personality. Quite the difficult choice(s). You've got your basic photo-etch details and decals for 124/18, as well as lozenge decals. It is also noted that you can build a Pfalz D.VII by using one set of interplane struts per side. The problem I have is that it is by Nowarra, who had a wonderful collection, but was not the most accurate writer on the scene. Tom, I'm afraid I can't say what *other* products will work, but I *can* assure you that with the right ones the printer is in no danger at all. The stuff I use was sold to me by Squadron mail order for only a couple of dollars per 11 by 8 1/2 (??) sheet. They are *specifically* marketed as laser prnter safe, and have that printed on the envelope each sheet is packaged in. The only problem I had was that I put the sheet in the A4 tray of the printer, which happily printed my artwork, but then moaned about improper paper sizes until I reset it (takes 1 second and does no harm.
