That is right Peter but the BE2c (pretty basic vac) costs 14.50GBP and RE8 costs 23.75 making over 40GBP = 65USD for a compromise. Now Eduard could do one for less than half that...... I am still doing battle with the Waldo Resin Sopwith Dolphin and I think it will look pretty damn good when it is finished - which should be not too far away now. But it is (very) limited edition - expensive (30.95GBP), not worth it, and features wings that are thicker than a very thick piece of thick stuff. After sanding (outside) and sanding and sanding, I eventually achieved a reasonable result but the Dolphin had surprisingly diaphanous wings for such a tough looking aeroplane. I striped the ribs with black transfer and sprayed thin CDL underside to achieve "see-through" effect. But the hours so far on this beast could have seen two or three Eduards flying by now. In summary Bill you are probably right - there is effectively not an available kit of the Dolphin! This is a subject of interest to me at the moment too. Are you matching the turquoise in profiles of the DrI Special? To me, that blue looks a little too dark and "grey." Clear photos of the undersides of Dr.I wings, as well as the wing ties make me think the turquiose is lighter in colour. Anyone have a good match for this colour mixing Polly-S acrylics?
