I heard there is a really big shop in Scranton, but don't have any details (apparently it is a craft/hobby superstore). I also know that ModelExpo is somewhere around us, but I'm not sure if they have a store or are just a catalog firm. Also, that Eduard will now do their own molding for all future releases. I would expect all future kits from Eduard to be of the same quality of the D.V. They set the precedent with the release of this kit, now lets see them keep up with their own standards. One important footnote to the above. The future release of the Pfalz D.III (Date, as of yet undetermined) will appear to be a return to the old Eduard, the Pfalz was due for release some time ago, and postponed. Apparently Eduard is determined to make the subcontractor live up to his contract and fulfill the order for the moldings. So the Pfalz D.III will probebly be of the same quality of the previous releases and not up to the present standards that Eduard has set. Hey, if that bothers you you can build the Glencoe kit. As for me I will buy it just like every other Eduard WWI I have bought. Can't wait for the Sopwith Triplane or several others slated for the future. Some brief construction notes about the D.V In using the plastic bulkheads it will be necessary to sand the top and bottom edges to get them to fit. Study the plans carefully prior to beginning assembly (Instructions! I don't need no steenking instructions!). The little arrows showing the construction process of the etched parts can be confusing if not studied. A nice touch is the sideviews which help explain construction. Eduard has done their best to make the construction easy, but the instructions need to be studied. Another nice touch is the move to etched steel It is sturdier than the thin brass previuosly used. I crushed the interior of the Moraine several times just holding it with finger pressure. All in all I find this to be an excellent kit and plan on several for my WWI collection. Thank You Eduard. I build planes, armor ( a small army of converted Airfix Mark I's) and ships, I especially like naval subjects of the WW I years. I build in both 1/48 and 1/72, and also 1/35, 1/32, uh, lets see, 1/700, 1/350 and of course the world famous "box scale".
