See if your local library has _Color Profiles of World War 1 Combat Planes_ by Giorgio Apostolo. It's been out of print for a while. Aircraft that would be reasonable in size to use on a WAC or Sectional chart. The aircraft need to represent DeHavilland Beavers, Cessnas - 172, 182, 206, 185, 180, L-19 etc. I would like to find them in a big package of 50 or so, prefreably moulded in one piece hard rubber. When I was a kid we had similar planes, but they represented WWII aircraft. These small models, probably around 1/400 scale, were moulded in bright green, red, blue, and yellow with good detail, good enough to easily Identify a B-10 or P-51. They kind of reminded me of the black, rubber, silhouette, ID models of WWII, only smaller and more colorful. I need these aircraft to run a plotter board for search and rescue missions; somewhat like the plotter board the British used in WWII to plot their aircraft movements, but on a smaller scale. Unfortunately, we won't have 20, lovely, young, WRENS to move our planes about on the board. Help on any source for these models would be greatly appreciated.
