Although it was suppose to be out this year, perhaps next one. For me the old Libramodel Brisfit in the real scale, 1/72 that is, is the one. Have a Mosehead (Canadian Ale). J. Bush and 1/AM A. Whitehouse, No. 22 Squadron, and after the observer [Whitehouse] had fired into it, it fell out of control and crashed." A search of German air casualty reports for the 4. and 6. Armees, as well as for the entire Western Front, shows no 2-seater losses at all that day. Is it really worth anything as a reissue, or is it safe to mutilate it? Anybody know if Glencoe plans to 'rework' anything but the decals of this kit? Is it really > worth anything as a reissue, or is it safe to mutilate it? John Burn's Kit Collectors' Value Guide gives a value of $12-$17 on this 'un so its probably safe to mutilate. Although, if I remember correctly, -extensive- mutilating will be required, the wing/fuselage fit is every bit the equal of the Glencoe D.III kit. Not a happy modeling experience if memory serves. > Anybody > know if Glencoe plans to 'rework' anything but the decals of this kit? Does Glencoe have the molds on this 'un? I was aware that they had some of the old Aurora and ITC stuff but I'd heard nothing about AMT molds. I'm not sure anyone has announced any plans to reissue this kit. > Lovely "fabric" texturing!! :- 6 ; should only take a few weeks to > sand it all off. Yes indeed. Ya' gotta wonder where they got the idea that burlap was used for wing coverings. Don't forget to remove the dihedral on the bottom wing, as well. > Also what would "Modelers of World War One" be in French? I'm > contemplating a new acronym... Heck if I know - what do the French call WW1 anyway? Certainly not "Le Gros Guerre", eh? :-) Cheers, -- -Bill Shatzer bshatzer@orednet.org- "Listen - strange women lying around in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
