I have already sent scanned drawings, photos and texts as far as Australia. Everything went OK and the fellows who received these were very glad. I just had to put the needed documents on my scanner, click once or twice and then send the result. (BTW, the hardest part was to find back those documents ;-)). I don't mean that everything has to be scanned that way. It would be a mammoth task for entire books. But it can be very interesting for smaller documents, extracts from books or specific articles from OOP magazines. I have seen him perform "Roads to Moscow" about a Russian soldier during the German invasion of Russia in the world war, vers 2.0. " The flames of the Tigers are lighting the road to Berlin.." What incredible music! And, I have listened to the song many times and can categorically state that other than a reference to " our planes were destroyed on the ground were they lay" There are absolutely no Me 109's mentioned in the song. It appears to me that Skybirds are one of those outfits that prefers to do business with ONLY the end-user. Aeroclub carries thir Strutz (metal strut material) but none of their kits. I have never ordered from them but, FWIW, I've almost always been happy dealing directly with businesses in the UK. It is always best to use a credit card when dealing mail-order -- especially if you haven't dealt with the outfit before. It's a hassle, but if goods are not delivered you can usually receive a refund from thecredit card company. Are there any references available for the Hansa-Brandenburg seaplanes? With my luck I should perhaps re-phrase my request to: "What out of print, unavailable references are there with respect to the Hansa-Branbenburg seaplanes?" As always, your input is genuinely appreciated. This would beg the question: "Which Hansa-Brandenburg seaplanes ?" Followed by: "What kind of information are you looking for ?" There is the Datafile on the H-B W.29, published just this year. The first other reference that comes to mind is the "out of print, unavailable" Harleyford Book on Marine Aircraft of WW I, though some of the drawings here may be suspect in their accuracy. There is also a little book put together by Alex Imrie about 5 years ago on German seaplanes of WW I, but this was only a book of old photos, no drawings. This too is probably out of print.
