I kinda prefer the Cockburn-Lange photos to "G-8" for my lozenge reseach; photographs being ever so much more accurate than hand drawn illustrations, after all. But, that being said, anyone actually got a copy of a "G-8" they'd like to sell? (Ya' can never have too much reference material, ya' know!) Does anyone else feel like Ray/Albatros have >us by the short hairs? Actually, I had noticed this as well. Considering that several of these aircraft have received multi-page articles in Windsock, some of the "mini" Datafiles (size, not price) must wind up with a bit of recycled content. This certainly was the case with the Pfalz D-III piece in one of the WW I Warplanes Specials. In looking at the progression of Windsock articles, Datafiles, and Specials that have come from this organization I begin to wonder just how many previously unpublished (from a Windsock perspective) resources Ray Rimell has remaining. Several other members of this list have lamented on the "thin" content of recent Windsock issues recently, so I think that these complaints are valid.
