The little Pommes Frites additive came from a meeting where our boss asked me to translate "point of main effort" into German. When I replied with "schwerpunkt" my partner in crime replied with"ja, mit pommes frites!" It was incredibly funny at the time but I guess you had to be there :). Imagine if you will the doppeldecker Messerchmit with its deadly load of cholesterol laden frech fries diving in to attack the unsuspecting british tommies in their trenches, unfortunately, the pilot fails to see snoopy diving on him out of the sun, a big mac under each wing...... The A/G instruction *booklets* were MY source. Sorry to all (and Glen Merrill in particular), I never intended to omit my source but did so in the rush to provide an answer in my tea break.. Contact Aviation USK. Yea, I do realise this. However, going to Des Moines this past weekend, and visiting one of the best shops in the world (am I biased? Nahhhh....) they bought a 1000 kit collection, and had a Meikraft P-35 dirt cheap, so I picked it up. Howeer, bringing in home, I realized that this is going to be a *lot* of work. Typical early Meikraft... Should have went with the Czech Masters, then there would be less headache. Anybody remember Meikraft's Albatros D.I/II? Gads, what a *dog*. Unfortunately, I too have two of those - one built - so the other will just sit....and sit..... I've got a project due in a week or so, so I need to concentrate most of my effort on that. However, I did notice that the tests I ran over the weekend panned out, so I should be back to the modeling soon.
