I think he was looking for 1/72. But I'm glad to hear that there'll
be another DIII around in 1/48: the old Aurora one was pretty ordinary,
and the Blue Max, apart from being pretty ordinary, was way over-priced.
I also picked up Windsock's "WWI Aeroplanes" and it has

Windsock also do one on the IIIa. And there's the old Profile
Pubblication, if you can get hold of it.
