Charles, Yes I think this is great. So where can we get some
of these kits?? As for the blues; Is there an FS or Humbrol equivelent
to the Methuen numbers you refer to? I've never seen this reference.
Is it a paint Manufacturer or a color ref. like the Klaus book?
Darker than RLM 65 and a bit on the greenish side. Well that brings a
whole new set of wrinkles into this thread. My case of the Blues is
turning green =) as in I'd like to get my hands on that bit of cloth.
I'd match the color. Oh yea!
Just a thought. You might scan the cloth as a color image and
post it to the Mosaic page for this group. I could bring the image into
a peice of software that would let me break up the color into a spectrum.
This would then allow one to mix to get the correct color. It would
require a high resolution scan though =( 400 dpi at least and that
might not be enough. 600 dpi would be better. Like I said, just a thought.
