I received my Ragwings BristolScout D from Ragwings yesterday. Its resin and
pewter with decals including serials for 4 aircraft.It can be made as a Scout
C with an overwing Lewis or a Scout D of the RNAS with the fixed Lewis on the
forward fuselage (synchronized?) The resin moldings look very crisp on
initial examination. I didn't measure dimensions etc]I can't say as much
about the pewter [engine,struts,undercarriage] almost up to Aeroclub
standards. The 2 Lewis guns are of resin and look good- but I'll reserve
judgment until I try to install same. There are no cockpit details aside from
a seat which is OK by me as I'm tired of getting bogged down in endless 1/72
cockpit detail that never sees the light. I'm trying to stuff pilots in all
cockpits-I think its more realistic etc. This kit also has excellent
documentation and is well worth the price.
