A book which discusses Reinhold Platz in the context of his work
with Fokker is "Fokker: the creative years" by A.R. Weyl (check spelling,
title correct though). This book was published over 20 years ago but is
still in print from Conway which handles the Putnam aviation series. I
just received their latest catalog which confirms this. A couple of
years back there was some discussion in the journal World War One
Aeroplanes about this book. It has a number of errors, as documented in
this discussion, however it does give a pretty good perspective on
Fokker's wartime activities and the personalities involved.
