G.IV Undersurface

Hi All,

I'll have a go at the monotony around here today!

Is anyone (or everyone, besides me!) aware of the possible practice for
the undersurfaces on certain AEG G.IV types to have been painted black
during the course of 1917-18? I recall reading this, I think, but for the
life of me I can't find the reference again. I'd like to execute a more
'novel' scheme on the G.IV that I'm now completing.
Other ideas?
Thanks, Erik
