Joe,
Owl's Head is on the coast, about half way between Portland and Bangor.
Take the I-95 north and exit on to Route No. 1, above Portland (I believe
it's
exit No. 22). Follow the No. 1 right into Rockland, Maine. Owl's Head is
just outside Rockland. It's two miles south of Rockland, on Route No. 73.
As Thayer pointed out in his response, get there as soon as it opens
(10:00am EDT); that's usually the time they fly the oldies. I'll be going
down either on July 1 or 2, depending upon the weather. Maybe I'll see you
there!
