C. Gannon & Co. have just shipped the new Pegasus kit - a 1/72 Phonix D.1
for =A39.99 (if it doesn't show on your machine, that's supposed to be a
pound sign over there before the first 9.)
The kit has colorful naval markings for an aircraft defending the naval
base at Pola in the summer of 1918. Aircraft in similar markings can be
found on pp 22 & 23 of Windsock Datafile 31 & on the plans for Sierra's
1/48 kit.
The kit scales out well WRT the 3-view in the Datafile & has some extremely
fine detail on the plastic bits - the ailerons even have washout!!!
Contrail and cast struts, cast seat, engine, radiator, etc fill out the kit.
This could be their best yet.
