Hmmm. Reading a copy of the long o/o/p "Flying Machines of the of the
First Air War, 1914-18" (McLeese), I read a brief snippit in passing that
has now got me intrigued. McLeese stated that Hermann G"oring "briefly
piloted [sic] a Fokker Dr.I type", but "did not fancy the machine's
flying behaviour" and quickly discarded it. I have a Ravell kit 'on the
blocks', and as old 'Lardy' was usually possessed of rather artistic taste (I
personally think his white Fok D.VII is about the most beautiful machine
going), I thought I might do this craft.
The only snag is that I have *no* idea what it looks like!! Can anyone
come to the rescue on this one?
Thanks, Erik
