No your mind isn't going! I have been remiss. I have used them quite a lot
of late and was thinking about getting a post out into the news groups etc.
So let me take the opportunity to do something about it now!
Folks if you are looking for a great replacement for a #11 xacto blade check
out the scapel blades from Indigo! They are sharp as hell, stay sharp longer
(at least mine have) and are a bit smaller in size so you can get them into
more places! I love 'em! I have used them for everything from cutting out
parts for FF planes to carving balsa on my 1/6th N17. They got used to clean
up flash etc. on my son's F-14 and cut 1/32" ply for a tail skid mount. They
may cost a tiny bit more but in this modelers opinion, they are worth it!
