I have seen rather a large number of interpretations of the Austro-Hungarian
red-white-red wing and tail striping. As printed in color plates, and giving
allowance for the various printing means, it seems there is some disagreement.
Was this red color a 'true' red, or more of an orange-red? Or, even a
red-orange, as suggested by some work? Given the national colors of A-H,
I'd be inclined to believe "red". Anyone else? Resident Mad Norseman?
