In the latest WW1 Aero, Flying Machines Press has an advertisment for
- are you sitting down? - their latest book. "The Imperial Russian
Air Service", by Durkota, Darcy & Kulikov. 450 pages, with over 500
photographs. What a book! It's even including 1/48th and 1/72nd
scale drawings. But, hold on to your checkbook, list price will be
$79.95, with a pre-pub price of $75. Egads! I know when I mentioned
the book to my wife, she pierced my brain again with those lightning
glares! I had a hard time "convincing" her that I needed the
Austo-Hungarian aircraft book! And now this one comes along. Good
thing it isn't published until December!

Now we just need to wait for Peter Grosz' book on German aircraft -
right Steve?
