Aha! Secure the running part of the cable to the block [pulley],
or wahtever attachment point with a drop of white glue, let it dry, then
continue its run, attaching where necessary. Works for me.
It's an old trick I learned from rigging sailing ships [.....
don't hit me! 80)].
