Sorry, the only photo I have has the side of the aircraft in deep
shadow, as I said, making it impossible to lift a serial number, or any-
thing else, for that matter. But I'll have a look in the article in SAM,
dubious as it is, when I get home.
I agree with you about the streaked olive.
And DVIIs were indeed licence-built by OAW [Ostdeutsche Albatroswerke]
at Schneidem"uhl [which town, now modern and fairly large, I saw on my recent
trip 80)], at least.
