Latest Windsock...

Well, the latest Windsock finally came yesterday. Good issue.

The thing of interest was the Skybirds '86 ad. To be released in the
future: Rumpler C.IV, DFW C.V and Friedrichshafen G.II. Gads,
wonderful subjects, but isn't the next release from Pegasus a Rumpler
C.IV? Previous releases from Skybirds were a Lloyd C.V, LVG C.II and
Halberstadt Cl.II. Anybody have these, and what do you think of
them? How much do they cost, and what is the shipping rate? This ad
only advertised their next releases - as well as explaining Strutz -
so they didn't include any pricing scheme.

Unfortunately, you can "officially" get them only direct, so it makes
it a bit more difficult. However, if they keep on releasing
two-seaters, I might just have to jump at one. That G.II is bound to
cost a bit.

And the front cover of the DFW C.V Datafile is beautiful. However,
it seems that maybe Brian Knight messed up with that "extra" C.V? Ah
well, it doesn't really matter, does it?

As far as addressing topics without references, I agree. I'll stop
operating from memory, and wait until I can get home to look at my
reference sources. It's extremely difficult when operating on about
2K memory...
