Thanks Matt for passing that along from the other list. What I found
interesting about the piece was the absence of any discussion regarding the
substantial development problems that were encountered with Liberty
engines. These problems kept the number of these engines used in Combat
very low. Sorry, I don't have numbers to quote, but this is, I thought, a
well known aspect of this engine's history.
