Isn't the Airfix WW I tank kit a Mark I NOT a Mk. IV ?? Having built
one years ago I remember the kit having the "wagon wheel" device at the
back thought to be useful for steering the beast but subsequently dropped
from the Mk.I and later Marks as ineffectual. I suppose that the
transmissions were improved so that treads could be individually powered
etc.
