I don't have the number with me either, but I know the aircraft
you mean: yes, it *is* a rebuild of a later a/c; the original crashed in
France and was written off: you'll see a photo of it standing abjectly on
its nose in Charlie Schaedel's book Men and machines of the Australian
Flying Corps, 1914-1919.
