Paul and others,
The National Air and Space Society has several levels of membership,
each with increasing levels of membership.
The first is the "Wright Flyer Member" for US $35.00
which includes a copy of 1996 Desk Calendar and a membership card
good for discounts.
The second is a "Spirit of St. Louis" member for US $50.00
which includes a 1 year Air & Space mag. subscription (no calendar)
and other things.
The third is a Bell X-1 "Glamorous Glennis" member for US $100.00
which is like #2, but also invites to special openings and screenings.
There are levels above this...

There is a web site located at:
http://www/nasm.edu/NASMDOCS/NASS/NASS.html

Fee plus name and address to:
The National Air and Space Society
National Air and Space Museum
Smithsonian Institution
Independence Ave. and 6th Street, SW
Washington, DC 20560

These membership contributions are primarily to raise the funds
needed to build the
National Air and Space Museum Dulles Center
which will house what is currently stored at Dulles Inter. Airport
and at the Paul E. Garber Facility in Suitland, Maryland.
Also the restoration tasks done at Garber will be moved to Dulles,
set in a manner where visitors will be able to view work as it happens.

If you would rather have the brochure with more details and do not have
access to the WebSite, send me (not the list) your "Snail-Mail"
address and I'll put one in the mail.

The sooner it is built, the sooner I can see the Halberstadt
currently on loan to the Germans. (And they did a GREAT job restoring it...)
